Ryley Cowan

Office Manager

Ryley graduated from The University of Arizona in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Retail and Consumer Sciences. Her degree gave her a background in sales, marketing, and business development, which then evolved into a passion for small businesses and the special relationships that come with it. She is grateful that this job has led her back to Colorado (and to work alongside her mom!)

She enjoys being the first point of contact for our wonderful clients, helping market and run our beloved financial seminars, as well as working within the team to onboard new clients, interacting with a variety of business vendors, and managing the company calendar. When she is not busy working, you can find her enjoying the sunshine, practicing yoga, laughing with her friends and family, or reading her book club pick of the month. Be sure to say hello over the phone or through our dedicated client email!

In her down time, Brittany loves spending quality time with family, planning fun game nights with friends, and relaxing at home with her husband while catching up on their favorite shows together.

Matt Belter

Tax Analyst

Matt recently graduated from CU with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting, and is now pursuing his Masters in the same field. Before joining WFP, Matt gained auditing experience from Plante Moran’s Employee Benefit Plans and SEC reviews, later working on auditing projects in Malaysia as a part of KPMG’s Global Intern Program. He was originally drawn to our firm as a way to learn more about the financial planning industry and has since gained even more hands-on experience with tax returns. We are grateful for his help during the 2024 tax season and are excited to see where his career takes him in the future. When he’s not busy at work or school, Matt enjoys being outdoors golfing and hiking, as well as playing fantasy football with his friends.

Ron Swatfigure

Independent Insurance Agent

Ron Swatfigure has been in the insurance business for over 10 years and got his start as a captive agent with Farmers Insurance. After a few years of growing business and helping clients through typical Colorado weather events (such as flooding, wildfires, and hailstorms), Ron determined that he needed to offer his clients a broader range of coverage to best serve them in the long term. He then became an independent insurance agent and opened his business Sun Mountain Insurance in 2016. With the freedom of an independent broker, and his partnership with Welch Financial Planning, Ron offers his clients flexibility and affordability with coverage available through multiple insurance agencies. In his spare time, Ron enjoys being active outdoors skiing, hiking, biking, and camping with his family.
