Consistent Process

We start our process with a complimentary consultation to review your situation. Based on the information you provide, we will address your specific financial planning questions and concerns. The goal of our initial session is to provide you with a couple of actionable items that will help you get an idea of how to best move forward.

When you hire Welch Financial Planning & Insurance, two processes begin: gathering your financial information and consolidating your assets at Charles Schwab. After we determine the factors that impact your financial well-being, we will schedule your preliminary financial planning meeting to discuss our suggested strategy for your investment portfolio and any next steps.

We typically reconvene a few times a year to keep us updated with your dynamic life and offer support as needed. When major life changes occur, we may meet more frequently to ensure your financial path is redeveloped.

Complexity Simplified

Your financial world is complex, so we address each concern with personalized planning and fiduciary responsibility. Based on your unique situation and financial goals, we will build the right path for you and help put it into motion with our exclusive Financial Planning Checklist. This comprehensive document organizes your plan into easy-to-follow categories that we update at each financial milestone, so it reflects your current financial health, life changes and any pertinent tax strategies.

Our investment process is not one-size-fits-all, but is driven by your custom financial plan. We utilize Tron’s proprietary “Bucket System,” which segregates your money by short-, medium-, and long-term goals; then, we invest funds in an appropriate portfolio for each time horizon. This protects short-term funds while enabling funds for your future to grow, shielding you from inflation.

Whether you’re accumulating wealth in retirement or planning to send your child to college, we have an array of strategies to help lower your overall tax costs. As IRS rules and regulations evolve, we evaluate the impact of long- and short-term liabilities, then adjust your path accordingly.
